The top SAIE 2016 new products have been selected. Meeting on 29 September, the jury for the SAIE INNOVATION award selected outstanding new products, solutions and technologies from the submissions made by 164 companies from the world of building.

The award focuses on sustainability and innovation. Mock-ups of the selected top products will be displayed during SAIE at a dedicated exhibition in the Services Centre promoted in partnership with Ongreening, which has also signed an agreement with SAIE, Edilio and Accadueo for SAIE Innovation – towards zero impact. The exhibition will be an opportunity for companies to improve their visibility and for visitors to discover the latest trends in the construction industry.

The selected products are due to be unveiled next week, while the New Product Guide featuring all the submissions divided into different theme sections is already online. The characteristics of each product are given along with an indication of whether it is a “New product” or “Sustainable new product”.

In the context of the competition SAIE Innovation – towards zero impact, Ongreening has mapped the green potential of the winning solutions and products using the revolutionary ProductMAP algorithm, the first tool for performing real-time analysis of the compatibility of building products and materials with the major building sustainability certification systems (LEED, BREEAM, Estidama, HK BEAM Plus, etc.).

The selected products will be published on the Ongreening website and presented in dedicated seminars in the SAIE Innovation Arena organised by SAIE, Ongreening and Edilio.
