SAIENERGIA & Sustainability

As of 2010 SAIEnergia is evolving to become SAIENERGIA & Sustainability, integrating the spaces devoted to renewable energy with those devoted to sustainable and safe building systems, components and materials.

Integrating with Energy is the slogan for this process of expanding the initiatives in the area: from the Energy Plaza, under the scientific coordination of architect Mario Cucinella, which for three years has featured student workshops, technical meetings with companies and exhibitions devoted to energy efficiency and sustainable building, to the LaterSaie Plaza and the Sustainability Plaza, and the Building Renovation Plaza, the Energy Efficient Envelope Plaza, the SAIELegno (wooden structures) Plaza and the Architecture and urban Design Envelope Plaza.

In all these plazas SAIE exhibitors have the opportunity to speak, meet visitors and present their solutions for safe and sustainable building.

At SAIE 2011, a new itinerary devoted to sustainability will connect the halls and areas of SAIENERGIA & Sustainability with the forum and demo areas, allowing visitors to gain a close-up view of technologies and systems for sustainable building.
